Blitz
Empor-Blitz GP Jugend #4 (Weihnachtsblitz)
SV Empor Berlin · Cantianstr. 24, 10437 Berlin
Next: Tue 15 Dec 2026, 18:00–19:45.
The Christmas blitz, and the fourth leg of SV Empor Berlin's youth blitz Grand Prix for 2026/27. It starts at 18:00 and is aimed at the whole youth section up to U25 — players born in 2001 or later — and is open as well to coaches, to the parents of Empor's young players, and to members of the club's chess department generally. Young guests from other clubs are very welcome, but are asked to register beforehand so the organisers can plan places. Scoring does not depend on the turnout: a draw is worth one point and a win two. Around ten legs are played across the season and each player's best six count towards the standings, in the age groups U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U20 and U25, which may be combined. It is played in the red administration building in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark, the club's youth training home.
