Tournament
Fritz-Stutzke-Pokal 2026
SC Kreuzberg · Böcklerstr. 1, 10969 Berlin
Next: Thu 29 Oct 2026, from 19:00.
The opening round of SC Kreuzberg's club cup, open to members and guests alike, and played over five Thursday evenings. Entry is 10 €, paid in cash on the night, and you sign up through the club's online form by 12:00 on 28 October — or register in person before this first round, up to 18:30. The field is between 8 and 32 players and the tournament is called off below 8; if the numbers do not make a clean bracket, a lucky-loser rule drawn by lot fills it out to 16, 8 or 4. Knockout with a random draw, and losing need not end your evening — anyone knocked out may carry on in a losers' group until they lose a second time. A drawn game goes to two rapid tiebreak games and then, if it is still level, a single Armageddon blitz. The time control is 90 minutes for the whole game plus 30 seconds a move from the first, starting at 19:00, with 30 minutes' grace for a late arrival. Games are DWZ-rated. No smoking, alcohol or phones in the playing hall. The winner takes 125 €, the losing finalist 75 € and the winner of the losers' group 50 € — figures quoted for a field of 25 and scaled to whoever turns up, since the entry fees are paid out in full on a 50-30-20 split. The best Kreuzberg player takes the title Pokalsieger and a trophy.
